Z*ACRYL MAGNETIC REGISTRATION TEMPLATE

Continuing in our efforts to develop the most visionary and effective materials for fine arts etching, we are pleased to introduce THE Z*ACRYL MAGNETIC REGISTRATION TEMPLATE.  It is without question the most accurate and simplest solution to multiple-plate registration.

  • Simply center a plate on the Magnetic Registration sheet and trace the contour of the plate with a sharp utility knife.  The template cuts easily and precisely to create a custom fit "window" for exact positioning of the printing plate(s).
  • The template measures 24" x 30" to accommodate full sheets of paper.  The template, of course, can be cut down to fit smaller press beds or for greater economy.
  • The magnetic underside of the sheet adheres firmly to the metal press bed.
  • The gloss white top instantly and completely wipes free of ink.
  • .025"-thick sheets hold the plates firmly in place while still allowing for a pronounced embossment of the plate edges.
  • The Magnetic Registration Template will not stretch and will stand up to the largest editioning requirements.
  • The same sheet may be used repeatedly by cutting successively larger "windows".
  • The template may also be used as a relief printing surface, by cutting imagery into the top layer and peeling away the gloss cover.
